D.L. Hughley should stop

After watchin D.L. Hughley on Larry King Live a few weeks back, I was impressed with what he had to say. He was on point and speaking about a lot of the things that I have on my mind and saying things quite frankly that no one else seems to have the heart to say. However, with his new show, that approach has gone out the window; something has changed. If this is as a result of those highest up in CNN, they have made a vital mistake. D.L.'s new show is utterly deplorable. It does nothing more than reinforce sterotypes (something we do not need when trying to elect the first black president). I think the idea behind this show was good, but the execution sadly was a blast from the past.

Former Bush Press Secretary Scott McClellan announced on D.L.'s show that he would be supporting Senator Barack Obama. While the idea was great, the set up and delivery of McClellan's endorsment made my teeth clench because it assumes that Black people would vote for Obama because he is Black and as we can see from this election that just is not true.
